Set just off Upper St, on the former site of Almeida, Radici serves dishes inspired by Chef Patron Francesco Mazzei’s southern Italian heritage (Radici is Italian for roots… get it?), including pizza, pasta and delicious small plates. There is also a selection of sharing dishes, as well as Sunday feasts served family-style.
The pizzas and a number of other dishes are cooked in the restaurant’s traditional wood-fired oven and the kitchen is run on a day-to-day basis by Giuseppe Cafaro, who has been Francesco’s right-hand man for over decade.
The spacehas been designed by the legendary David d’Almada’s stuido Sagrada, who most recently redesigned both Bluebird in Chelsea and Francesco’s Savile Row restaurant, Sartoria. There’s also a private dining space, a wine room and even a terrace, ideal for sipping an Aperol Spritz or two…
