This January we are thrilled to be collaborating with our friends at The Watercress Company, the UK’s leading watercress grower, as we champion the importance of using quality British produce in the restaurant, now more than ever.
Chef Patron Francesco Mazzei has always prioritised the importance of introducing locally sourced British ingredients into his Italian cooking, to create dishes in a more sustainable way.
Francesco had the pleasure of visiting Tom Amery at The Watercress Company farm this January where he had the opportunity to harvest the watercress and learn more about its many health benefits.
An ‘Original Superfood’, Watercress is rich in vitamins, containing over 50 vital vitamins and minerals and has been proven to help lower blood pressure, improve bone health, contribute to a healthy gut, help to fight breast and colon cancer, slow skin ageing and help to maintain a strong immune system, to name a few!
As look to kick-off 2022, happy and healthy, Francesco has since created a special bespoke dish using their produce which is now available on the menu at Radici for the month! Book a table and tuck into Francesco’s Beef Tagliata with watercress pesto and bone marrow!
